One of our clients in the health industry procured a new Learning Management System (LMS) with our help. The LMS will help manage training, identify staff capabilities and enable production of high-quality internal training courses.

The client knew what they wanted – they’d undertaken workshops and had a high level of understanding of the functional requirements their system needed – but they didn’t have much time to procure. To procure their LMS in time for end-of-year budgets, they needed a one-month procurement period.

In a very short amount of time we were able to jump in with our rigorous procurement methodology and apply our experience to make things happen quickly. This included:

  • encouraging them to broaden their options and test the market with an open tender (even though they weren’t sure about this initially!)

  • assisting in informing the market of their needs by turning their wish list into a functional set of requirements

  • managing the tender evaluation and demonstration brief, providing instructions to Vendors on areas to be demonstrated

  • undertaking a review of a contract.

We loved having the opportunity to assist in getting this project completed. We weren’t needed at every step of the process, but we were happy to share our expertise wherever they needed it. The client ended up selecting a vendor that they hadn’t been aware of initially, and they’re every happy with how the solution meets their user’s needs.

“I would like to thank both you and Michelle for your expertise and assistance over the past month to assist us with procurement of a LMS platform. Michelle has been instrumental with this process and I would personally like to pass on my gratitude for her guidance and advice.”
