Gerry Ginnivan - Managing Director

Gerry is the founder of Votar Partners, which commenced operations in March 1989. A qualified accountant, Gerry's early career included accounting roles before moving into the business application systems area with the ARDB bank, Stock Exchange and then prominent international software suppliers.

Gerry's background includes broad experience in the implementation and management of business and accounting systems from the perspective of the user, supplier and consultant. He has worked across many industries including Federal, State and Local Government, Water, Transport, Manufacturing and Distribution. Gerry has had significant exposure to the majority of software solutions that are available in the current market place and is therefore well qualified to assist in providing advice and guiding clients in relation to appropriate business application software and procedures.

As the Managing Director, Gerry is ultimately responsible for all consulting assignments. Gerry has been the driving force in leading the growth of Votar Partners in its expansion to become a national consulting company.

Chris Kanaris - General Manager - Consulting

Chris is the General Manager - Consulting for Votar Partners, and has responsibility for the scheduling, planning and delivery of all assignments conducted by us, as well as oversight of our consultants to assure successful outcomes.

Chris is a qualified Electronics Engineer, and an MBA in Technology Management. He has an extensive background in the areas of Project Management, Strategic Planning, Information Systems and Information Technology. Chris has been involved in projects in the Water, Higher Education, Federal, State and Local Government industries, as well as the private sector, with assignments ranging from strategic business planning (particularly in IT/IS), business process reviews and project management to the design/development of software, and evaluation and selection of business systems.
